Director of Commodity Relations
The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) has
named Sandra Kuhn as its new director of commodity relations.
Kuhn of Fairfield County replaces David White, who is now
OFBF’s senior director of policy research and development.

OLC Responds to Major Newspapers' Opinions and Editorials
The OLC issued the following response to
letters to the editor that
appeared in The Columbus Dispatch and Chronicle-Tribune (Warren) regarding
the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) report, " Livestock's
Long Shadow -- Environmental Issues & Options" and its accompanying "Spotlight" summary
that was released (FAO) in Rome last month.
